International Military - The conflict between Russia and Ukraine that has been going on since February 24, 2022 until now there has been no sign of peace. In fact, Russia has reportedly just fired a Kinzhal hypersonic missile into Ukrainian territory on Friday (18/3/2022).

According to AFP, the Kinzhal missile fired by Russia has destroyed the arsenal in western Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry did not deny the news.

This is the first time Russia has used high-precision weapons in its battle against Ukraine. Previously, Russia seemed not to seriously attack Ukraine and deliberately concealed their large weapons, including its fighter planes.

The Kinzhal missile also became Russia's first hypersonic weapon to be launched into President Zelensky's territory.

"The Kinzhal missile system with hypersonic aeroballistic missiles destroyed a large underground warehouse containing missiles and aviation ammunition in the village of Deliatyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region," Russia's defense ministry told state news agency RIA Novosti.

The Kinzhal missile is a Russian-made missile product that just finished undergoing its test exercises in February 2022.

Vladimir Putin claims that the Kinzhal missile is very effective at targeting targets due to its high level of precision. This missile has a speed of 10 times the speed of sound and can escape air defense systems.

The Kinzhal missile was first revealed by Putin in his State of the Union address in 2018. The launch of the Kinzhal missile seems to be a sign that Russia still does not want to end its invasion of Russia.
